HATA Ikuhiko

Profile of Professor HATA Ikuhiko
Born in 1932. Graduated from Tokyo University. After
studied at Harvard University and Columbia University, he
was given PhD. from Tokyo University. He was visiting
professor of Princeton University and experienced Prof. of
history at Takushoku University, Chiba University.
and Nihon University.
He wrote numerous books which include; Vol.6 of The
Cambridge History of Japan (1988), The Showa Emperor in
War and Peace, etc.
