Author Profile: Born the child of Korean residents in Iwate Prefecture in 1948. Educated at Rikkyo University and UCLA. Posts include Assistant Professor, College of International Studies, Keimyung University, Daegu, South Korea. Currently Professor, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Tokyo Metropolitan University. Research focuses on Japan-Korea relations and Korean residents in Japan.
