Abstract: The Real Identity of Military Comfort Women I Saw
This is a personal testimony about the "comfort women" written by Mr. Onoda, who
was in a position to observe the actual situation as a trading company employee. He
tells us that a huge amount of money spent on "comfort women" by the soldiers and was
nothing more than commercial activity. This testimony describes a lot of detailed
information about them -- the women he saw at “comfort stations” appeared very jolly
and cheerful.
He concludes that they were far from being “sex slaves” and that the accusation that
the military was behind “sex slavery” is simply ridiculous. This happening six decades
ago ,when prostitution was not illegal. He wonders why these baseless accusations
continue today.
