The American narrative of the Japan-U.S. War, the so-called Pacific War, runs like a Hollywood movie. “Aggressive” Japan attacked an unsuspecting U.S. and the U.S. fought back, defeating Japan, punishing her leaders for “aggression” and planted democracy, thereby bringing peace to Japan and the rest of Asia.
Mr. Suzuki, non-academic history researcher, wrote a 600 paged-book, presenting a completely different, diametrically opposite view with ample historical evidence materials.
